Let’s admit it, majority of us here have underestimated the price of bitcoin before and we don’t even think that its price will grow as fast like what we have at the moment. That’s how unpredictable bitcoin is, and how amazing it is, to the point that it leaves a lot of people to rush entering the market just to buy and hold bitcoin, and be profitable just like the early bitcoiners were.
It's not that we underestimate it, it's just that the future is unpredictable and no one knows what will happen, so it's understandable that we're cautious about new things. Even those involved in the creation of bitcoin and using it from the early days, those who understand bitcoin better than anyone else, are surprised and amazed by its success. So there is nothing wrong with many people being underestimating or cautious about it.
What's more confusing is that everything is now so clear, bitcoin's potential is no longer a secret but there are still some people who are skeptical about it.
