Most businesses fail in the first couple of years. It’s just so hard to run a profitable business in the current climate so I am full of respect for anybody who is able to do so. It takes a lot of risk, but if you can be successful then I can envisage it being so rewarding.

Most businesses that collapse just couple of years after start were not planned based on long term and continuous growth, they were planned based on the current market without much regard to the future and that is why they usually collapse when the market have just a little twist.
Running a profitable business requires a lot of knowledge, capital, consistency, and patience because before getting to the point where the business will be profitable, it will come with a lot of challenges that will make you question your ability to manage the business successfully.
People who run successful businesses have a lot of difficulty on their way before they get to make the idea a reality but they patiently and consistently overcome their obstacles.
