Good display from the game of Mamelodi Sundowns FC Vs Borussia Dortmund today, at least Dortmund has made up for their error in the first game of the competition. This hard win means they are currently on top of the table in their group. It was a hard fight fight from both side as Dortmund made a comeback after they were a goal down in less than 15 minutes after kickoff but restored parity in no time and even went ahead. Mamelodi Sundowns fought hard but couldn't get their own comeback as the game ended 4 - 3 in favour of the Bundesliga side.
Dortmund won the game, but fully respected how Sundown played in this game. Sundown shows how they could still fight against a team with better quality than them. They could secure one or three points if they were not making silly mistakes. One of most entertaining match since the start of CWC.
They gave dortmund so many troubles, played more structured, but only weak in their defensive line. If they can work on their loophole, they may able to compete against european team.
In the end, this is a game where two teams can only know how to attack without defending, but applause to the sundown.
Sundown was more refreshing than I thought they could be, but Dortmund didn't have one of their best days. Kovac had his excuse ready when he was asked for the bad performance and he said it was the weather and since the Africans are used to hot weather, Dortmund didn't have the same positive conditions as they had.
