I think I just got scammed out of a few bucks. Last night I was exploring mixing services and came across Mixero, which I've heard about before. The issue is that somehow I landed in mixero.cc, not [banned mixer]. I sent a few bucks into mixero.cc but I have not yet received anything and it has been approximate 12 hours.
Does anyone know if .cc and .io are the same thing/mixer? Registrars are different and .cc is a much younger domain than .io.
How did you find out about this mixero.cc website? Social media? Forums? The darkweb? What do you mean by "somehow I landed in mixero.cc"? Did you visit this website by mistake? Why would anyone trust a website with a .cc domain? Such weird domain extensions are an instant red flag, despite the fact that some legit companies try to use weird sounding domain extensions.
I thought that crypto mixers should be considered dead by now, it seems that many people are still using them(for some reason). How much is "a few bucks"? I'm glad that you weren't scammed by a few hundred or a few thousand bucks.
