For me personally working for myself is when I do anything for my own good. Being a hotel owner or business owner then of course you must be able to provide the best service to your consumers. That is not being a slave to others. For me when my business makes people happy and interested in what I offer means I have given value to myself. And improving skills, knowledge and health is a form of working for yourself. If you are a driver then you are a driver who knows all the streets in the city. If you are a hotel owner then you know how to make people like you. And if you are a businessman then you know the problems that people face and your product is the solution. Yes for me working for myself is you continue to add value to yourself every day.
