This is not the only kind that can ruin you. There are people who win big and stop playing, but they do some very stupid things with the money. Overprices phones, clothes, cars, and such things.
That's true. Some people even get drunk or high on drugs because they won big. I know of a sad incident where someone won big and went out with his friends to celebrate. They got drunk and one of them lost control as they were driving back from a nightclub. They had a fatal accident that led to the loss of lives and some injuries. Over-celebrating one's win is also not appropriate.
