Liverpool still need to introduce players into the squad competently before they can say they were good signings. Liverpool are one of the few teams that keep up the level in terms of transfers. They rarely make mistakes, buy more than one player and are consistently top of the table in various tournaments, including the Champions League, but I think it really takes time here
for me I don't Liverpool need to do much in the transfer market except for the purpose of replacing some of the players that left the club at the end of last season, hence it is Obvious that they would be a great team again this season despite last season's flop against defending champions PSG, also I think there's need for the team to give more chances to their young talents from their academy, these youngsters can sometimes be of great importance to the team if given the opportunity.
Liverpool has a great team, and I agree with you that Liverpool doesn't need to do much in the transfer window since they have a good squad that can compete in the UEFA Champions League competition and the Premier League or any other competitions they will play next season.
Liverpool management has already taken a strategic step by extending the contracts of M Salah and Van Dijk, even though they lost Trent Alexander Arnold, it was a deal that allowed them to be more relaxed in the transfer market. Instead of relaxing, Arne Slot still seems to want to recruit new players after they sealed the deal with Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz. I think if there are players leaving Anfield, Arne Slot will clearly be quite active in the transfer market. It must be admitted, the depth of Liverpool current squad is good enough to compete in the Premier League and Champions League next season.
