Besides Arsenal Gyokeres too have linked to some of Premier league clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United but the most problem is Sporting only want to sell Gyokeres at his release clause price 80 million which is in my opinion this is overprice and i am sure Arsenal won't dare to buy Gyokeres on that price so i think this transfer will never happen
If his quality and ability on the pitch is really worth his market value, then I don’t think price is an issue. But of course, Arsenal are not used to big-money transfers so far and the record they have made in recent seasons was signing Declan Rice for €116.60m from West Ham. Viktor Gyökeres’ current market value is €75m, but he is already 27 years old which I think seems expensive for Arsenal. However, if Arteta really needs him to make sure all the plans for next season are better, then there is nothing stopping him.
Viktor Gyökeres actually has a good goal record so far with Sporting. He has made 66 appearances in the Portuguese League, scoring 68 goals and 17 assists in 2 seasons. If this is one of the reasons for his high price tag, then I think it makes sense, but the Portuguese League and the Premier League are very different and Viktor Gyökeres will not be the same if this transfer happens.
