Yes, but not in gambling. Gambling is different from others in that we can maximize our knowledge and skill, making us succeed. No matter how hard we try, relying on luck won't change the situation. Of course, being positive is a good attitude for a gambler, but yes, this doesn't mean our luck gives us a favor as we want it.
