Besides Arsenal Gyokeres too have linked to some of Premier league clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United but the most problem is Sporting only want to sell Gyokeres at his release clause price 80 million which is in my opinion this is overprice and i am sure Arsenal won't dare to buy Gyokeres on that price so i think this transfer will never happen
With a clause price that big, of course any team would be reluctant to pay it, because even though Gyokeres is indeed a really great player. Because the proof is that with Sporting CP last season, Gyokeres was able to score 54 goals in all competitions he participated in and that achievement was really great. But even so, if Sporting sets a clause price of 80 million euros, I also feel that it is too expensive. Because basically even though Gyokeres is a great player at Sporting CP, that cannot be the main benchmark that if he moves to a team in the English league he will be as great as when he was at Sporting CP.
Because in the English league, of course, the competition is much tighter and the teams that exist can also be said to be the best teams of all. So with that, Gyokeres could have difficulty appearing productively like when he was at Sporting CP. That is why if Sporting CP wants to sell Gyokeres with a clause price that big, I am also sure that no team will be able to afford it. But if for example the price clause is lowered a little more, I think teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, or even Manchester United will definitely agree to bring him in. But it seems that Sporting CP is adamant that they will not lower the price, because in essence Sporting CP still needs Gyokeres. And if Gyokeres is sold, of course Sporting does not want to sell him cheaply. So with that, Gyokeres will indeed remain at Sporting CP.
