A bit disappointed with how Ascensio being sent off by the referee in the early game. He's still too raw, and have to do better in coming days. He's still so dumb and prefer to see Rudiger as a starter.

Bellingham, Guler, and Valverde came on to form, rebuild mentality, and secured 3-1 win, a solid comeback within a couple of minutes I have to admit. Young Guler showed he was learning the game not just haphazardly but more intelligently. I somewhat feel Endric's absence hurt the starting lineup but the depth of the team held firm.

Real played most of the match a man down but still managed to dominate the ball like nothing happened. That kind of confidence really stands out — calmly keeping possession around the box, daring the opponent to take it, and not letting them. Yes, Courtois had to save them with 10 stops, and Pachuca outshot Madrid heavily. But 3–1 is on the scoreboard. We’ll see how serious this team really is in the game against Salzburg.
