The contract is until 2030, but Liverpool has a buyback option. It is interesting that the amount for which the buyback can occur is not disclosed, apparently there are many options (depending on Bayer's results and how much they will depend on Quansah). For Bayer this is a good acquisition, and hardly a loss for Liverpool, Quansah played 25 games last season and although he did his job, he was not remembered for anything special.
