When you win, you think that you know gambling better and assume that luck is on your side, which leads you to jump into a big risky bet. You start losing, and at that stage, you change your mind to recover the money that you lost and start chasing it, falling into the trap. All your winnings and original money are gone, leaving only regret and sadness on your side.

Yes for new gambler winning could be a trap. It breeds overconfidence pushing player to make bets recklessly. At that rush moment, once you lose, it starts faster finally gambler falls into it.

One of my friends staked 10 dollars and hit 15x, boosting his greed instantly. It is really hard to overcome such a situation. Sadly, my friend wiped out 900 USD at the end of the day. It is a very old story after hitting the big jackpot and chasing the win again n again until your full bankroll collapses. so only knowledge is not enough, rules and regulations are needed. You should have to set stop loss, refresh your mind by walking away after big win, keep your judgment untouched, not let success impact your judgment. Without responsible gambling, even a single win is enough to lead you toward bankruptcy.
Not only for new gamblers, winning is always a big trap for gamblers. Even veteran gamblers can make mistakes and fall into traps if they fail to control their greed.

To me, gambling is a trap, winning is just a bigger trap within that trap. That is why when gambling we need to know how to control greed, gamble responsibly and know when to stop. Or better yet, gamble with a mindset of entertainment instead of thinking about making money and getting rich from it, we will never fall into any trap.
