It was a hard fight fight from both side as Dortmund made a comeback after they were a goal down in less than 15 minutes after kickoff but restored parity in no time and even went ahead. Mamelodi Sundowns fought hard but couldn't get their own comeback as the game ended 4 - 3 in favour of the Bundesliga side.
