Though I haven't gotten any issues using this non-custodial wallet but.. I'm not sure what is best for me now... I even had to download the Electrum wallet but it isn't very user friendly like Trust Wallet and I haven't made it my primary storage yet..
If you are not finding Electrum to be user-friendly, you should try out BlueWallet. It's much easier to use and a good Bitcoin-only wallet. Try it out; it's both an iOS and Android wallet. Whichever device you make use of, it's available there.
So I'll love to know what made Trust Wallet not really Trusted?
Your thoughts will be highly appreciated.
Because someone is nicknamed Perfect does not make them perfect. I just think one of the reasons why most people consider Trust Wallet to be a good wallet is how easy the wallet is to use and that it's a multipurpose wallet which you can use for both Bitcoin and altcoins, which also makes it dangerous to use; once your key is compromised, you lose everything.
Trust Wallet is also owned by Binance now, and their source code is no longer open for public usage. You never can tell what's going on underneath, and that iCloud or Google Drive backup feature they have, which some consider to be a good feature, also makes that wallet a vulnerable one.
