If I'm not mistaken Arsenal last won become EPL champion in 2003-2004 and of course Arsenal fans are really hoping that Arsenal will be champions in the coming season, let's just see what happens later and whether Arteta will succeed in bringing Arsenal to become champions next season or not.
Arsenal since they improve in their performance and gave Arteta the managerial role of the team have always came close to winning the premier league trophy but always end up misusing their chances and letting their closest opponent at the time prevail. This has happened more than once and here comes another promising season for them to show their best selves, hopefully they can get to win this time around but it is not always as easy as the previous season since all players from other clubs would have grasp how the team plays and functions in their best of ways.
All fans definitely want Arsenal to be as successful as they were in those days. At that time Arsenal was still coached by Arsène Wenger. And it seems that Arsenal has not been able to return to its glory days. But I believe they will be able to return to those times. Even though we don't know when. But looking at Arsenal's strength, they actually deserve to be champions. They just lack consistency.
Any team that lacks consistency will not be able to achieve their targeted goal, they will always be there trying to win but the trophy will never be able to reach them even though it’s a game away from them to win it. Consistency is the key to success in football and when you lack it as a team, you’ve lost your chances of winning big in the future.
