It's not nonsense to vote for whom you think can make your country better for you and other citizens. If you can not do it except you are paid like you said, does it mean you can sell your vote to the wrong candidate if you were paid to do so?
Some people simply go into politics; they are unaware of the rules or the right of their voters to vote for them, and as a result, after the election, they control us as they see fit. Why? It is because some of us sell out and vote for them, then after they are elected, they claim that they used their money to buy all of the votes and that they need to recoup all of their expenses before they can do anything beneficial for the community.
And imagine that the money they paid us during the campaign is insufficient to purchase the goods. But because of that small sum, many people would sell their votes, and that is why we suffer so much from them after they are elected; because they have already gained power, they have the right to do anything they want. It is far preferable to look for a good leader who can represent the country and the community than to sell out votes for the wrong candidate.
