All matches in Group B are now concluded. PSG and Botafogo are through, and Atletico and Seattle are out.
You cannot not feel sorry for Atletico. They did what they could and defeated Botafogo 1-0 today, but it wasn't enough and they will be dropping out because of the goal difference. It's a shame, but that's just the way it is.
After unexpectedly losing to Botafogo in the second match, PSG's today's performance was a bit of a question mark, but they didn't have any problems winning against Seattle (2-0) and controlled the game throughout.
It was very unlikely that Atletico Madrid would qualify and they didn’t. PSG did all the dirty work on them, having to win them in the opener with 4 goals and Atletico wasn’t able to reply none of that, instantly getting negative 4 goals for goal difference. While Botafogo made sure they didn’t conceive much and won two of their first fixtures. Beating Seattle and Miraculously got away with 3 points from PSG. Their composure has been the key to their success in the cup, have a very organized backline and a good forward for the speedy counter attacks.
