Because it’s one of the ways for governments to raise their revenue, and this is happening in different parts of the world..  like the US, Germany, and Canada. These are developed countries, and they already have laws in place for taxing gambling.

So it’s not something we can really contest. If it’s already being implemented in those countries, there’s a good chance it will also be implemented in developing or even struggling countries where the gambling industry is profitable.
