It seems that İlkay Gündoğan has no intention of going anywhere. Galatasaray wanted him very much, but after yesterday's game he made a statement that I have a contract for one more season and I'm very happy here. I believe I have a few more years at the top level, he said, which shows that he doesn't want to leave the Top 5 leagues.
If Manchester City decide to let him go again, his new club will be at least as strong as Barca. I don't think he will go to Galatasaray and I don't think City will give him to other Premier League teams either. He may struggle to keep up with the pace, but he still has a lot to offer. He didn't miss a game last season.
Gündoğan doesn't have a plan to leave. He's just getting better in CWC, and have his confidence back like before he left City, then gone to the Barcelona. He scored a lot for City, and too good to be true to expect him to leave soon.
He's ballers now. Impossible to leave when he has very good performance in City.
Gündoğan is no longer young, his contract only has 1 season left and if Man City does not sell him in the transfer market this season then Gündoğan will leave for free at the end of the season.
In terms of performance, Gündoğan is still a little good even though he is 34 years old, but to cover a long season with Man City I am not sure that he will be consistent, maybe Gündoğan can only be a substitute for the team in order to maintain performance stability.
