Arteta may need to win some silverware next season if he wants to keep his Job secure. I think the Arsenal folks have been patient enough, and that patience may wear out soon. The only consolation they had last season was beating Real Madrid in the UCL and qualifying for the next round. That may not be enough next season.
You would think that after spending that much money, they would be having a few trophies to show but no.
I think this should be the only criteria for Arteta to keep his job, he has done so well for the club that is undoubtedly significant in his years as the club manager but it is time for an upgrade. Arsenal should be winning trophies at this level and he is either giving the club trophies or take a walk. Thrice in the last three seasons Arsenal have come so close to winning a silverware and slipped off, I think it’s time for a change.
I quite agree with you regarding the state of Arsenal, I think they have moved beyond fixing the team to be in a top class. This means they can be able to compete with other top team because currently Arsenal is also considered as one of the tough and strong team which could win any trophy they want due to their current performance, they performance is so admired by many fans just because on how the play but they are expecting something bigger which is trophy, for the past two to three seasons arsenal have been in a better position to win at least one trophy each season.
It's high time Arteta look into this matter even though the management are not complaining but the fans are Bothered because the the rest of other fans are making mocks of them which is making them uncomfortable when defending their club. Let hope, who knows maybe they will bring change next season.
