Gambling came from old agies, like thousand of years, so gambling comes with superstitious even for today's way of gambling even though it's been debunked and no direct connection to it. But most of gamblers do belive something like it even with younger gamblers lol
Gambling has a big history. Some say it emerged from China, and some say it is being modernized by Italy. However, the path through which it has come has undergone a big transition. Based on which it is true that superstitious beliefs were also part of it. During the earlier days, livestock were considered for gambling, which was found to be valuable. Always there will be some form of emotional connection, and the same in the modern era have gotten connected with color, time, and location as some of the superstitious factors. In my thoughts, most of the time the coincidences were considered and connected with superstition.
There have always been superstitions, but in gambling it takes completely different forms. For example, someone gets up from the table, someone holds their lucky item or stone, and someone does not cut their hair or wash at all. There are many such things, but the fact is that they do not help to win, but only reassure the player that everything will be fine. I even remember how at the beginning of my gambling path, I held an amulet in my hand and thought that it would help me, but it got even worse, after this incident I stopped believing in such things. Only a profitable strategy is important, which can lead us to winning, or rather we will have more chances than other players, and the rest is a matter of luck, which absolutely no one can influence.
