Mostly its all about reading your player and knowing how to play your hand. Even if you have a good hand you need to see the cards and think of every possible outcome. Still its online poker and you cannot see the player and know his tell but still you can watch some videos and try and get better. Luck is a big outcome in this game but still you need to know to play your cards right in the long run
I agree with this but you also need the cards... Trying to bluff online too much doesn't work, because eventually someone will have something better than you and can't be shaken out of playing it. And by "eventually" I mean sometime in the next 3 hands.

For me I also learned recently that you need to be very comfortable with the format of the game, as well. If you just hop into a new kind of Hold'Em game, you're gonna be at a disadvantage compared to those who have already playing 1,000+ hands in that format. It's a fun game but I know I'm not good enough to take it too seriously.
Its really hard to keep bluffing on online poker and its not easy to do so. Maybe someone will just get lucky and go with it,so i think its a different game when you are playing online and face to face. In online poker you need to have good cards and then try and win the hand. The longer you play the easier it gets
