Perhaps the French club has some definite long-term plans for next season as they are currently trying to complete a number of deals, as already mentioned here. We also saw that AS Monaco will be adding Ansu Fati from Barcelona to the team, perhaps they are doing this for the long-term development of their club, they are even planning to treat the former Barcelona player this week. Most importantly, they will get an influential midfielder like Paul Pogba as a free agent.

When AS Monaco Football Club returns to the field next season with these great players, they will definitely be able to compete properly with other teams but before that I saw a report that Paul Pogba might join Real Madrid.

First Pogba and now Fati. Even though both deals carry quite much risk on one hand, these are still decent moves for Monaco.  Wink  How much will these signings help them though?

They can surely be bigger favourites for the 2nd position compared to Marseille. But not more than that honestly.  Tongue  Nobody can fight a this strong PSG right now. We rarely see them losing the title to someone else. A complete domination.
If AS Monaco can sign the two players mentioned, I think they could be a major obstacle to Paris Saint-Germain at least in their domestic league. We are already aware of the positions of these two different players who are recently joining the AS Monaco club.Paul Pogba is a dominant midfielder, while Ansu Fati is a forward or winger as far as I know a position he played in at his former club Barcelona. So the addition of these two players will help further enhance the club's status in League One and it seems like they might be able to compete there as a significant contender.
