Sporting CP will not lower their bid on Viktor Gyokeres because he's one of the standout attacker in the transfer window. They know he's capable but what else matters? Other elite teams open bids with the player but they don't match the bids because they feel Gyokeres is overhyped in the market. We know alot of things have been ruined for the player but it doesn't stop him from been in the category of top attackers. Viktor Gyokeres might as well create his path because if he follows his team, they are no willing to let him go, rather they will redirect bids that are not favorable on the player.
Gyokeres is no longer comfortable playing for Sporting. He wants the club to sell him to the Premier League, no matter how much the other club gives in offers because Gyokeres wants to develop his career in a competitive league. Primeira League is not competitive enough, and it will affect his career in the future. I believe this will be a significant issue if the management still holds him at a high price (70 million euros) because his age is not compatible with the current market. There will be a win-win solution between him, the sporting and other clubs (who want his service), like a loan option, or player swap.
