I don't participate in them. They've become a honeypot for scams and not only that, they are attracting people to buy whatever they sell in that airdrops and want to make people think they'll have more in distribution if they avail those too early.

It's true that they're becoming less popular because that's how they did dirty the community. If most of these devs were just honest and let the community win over them, they're probably still around.

But because of that, they're no longer desirable by many and just become a trend and hype that we might see come again on the next cycle.
