Liverpool will again be a title contender in the Premier League and it is also possible that Liverpool will be stronger in the Champions League next season. But for the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup, it seems that this will not be Liverpool's main focus because if Liverpool focuses on all these competitions to become champions, of course their players will be very tired which can cause the loss of the possibility of becoming champions in bigger competitions such as the Champions League and the Premier League.
Liverpool target for 2025/2026 season is to become Premier League champions and Champions League winners. Liverpool won't pay very huge amount of money for Florian Wirtz and want to place their focus on FA Cup or Carabao Cup, Liverpool are going for the big titles. Liverpool defending their championship as Premier League winners is easy if they stay solid focusing mostly on that part. Playing Champions League will give them a diversified performance, making them forfeit one title at the end, or injuries in the long run because they don't have better substitute.
It's easy said than done. I don't see how injury deprived Liverpool from reaching the Champions League finals, because they were kicked out by the current Champions PSG in the quarter finals. Liverpool was the only club that didn't suffer from injury to the point that it affected their performance and that was the luck that they had. They might not be capable of defending the title next season.
