Hahaha it's quite funny when you say Ghosts that give signals, I don't know why in modern times there are people who still believe in the help of spirit beings in gambling,
even though it's just their imagination that makes their subconscious believe that the help of an invisible creature will give victory.

When it comes to the supernatural, I often see the movie "GOD OF GAMBLERS" because the character has the power to control and see how many dice come out and more magical things are done,
maybe people who still believe in the mystical thing in gambling are still inspired by such movies.

Something similar happened in my neighborhood where there was a man whose economic situation was lower middle class, but he often visited local gambling during certain events. His humor was that he always lost but the comparison happened so quickly with him who always won when gambling. This attracted a lot of attention from other people around him, including his neighbors who were also gamblers who said that he was helped by spirits, so the gambling owner was afraid if he came to gamble because he thought he would definitely go home with a win. Believe it or not, it was none other than luck too.

Even if he managed to get consecutive wins, it was also because of luck, because I think if he could continue to get benefits from gambling, maybe he wouldn't work out of town.

This makes me to remember then, when we were young and we use to see magic from people all over the world and we don't know that they were not actually magic but tricks, in which they use logical initiatives to play prank in the eyes of many and it appears as if it was magical power, then we begin to see all their performances as being superstitious without knowing they are just ordinary tricks, same could apply to this cause, with the gambler, some could be having this luck in such a unique way, while some might be skillful and experienced in playing some games, which others may now termed being superstitious.
