When Vincent Kompany was made the head coach of Bayern Munich, I had doubts that Vincent Kompany wouldn't be able to solve the problem at Bayern Munich and guide Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga title because of his lack of experience and how he performed poorly in the Premier League when he was the head of Burnley, but I was still happy that Vincent Kompany was able to prove me wrong and guide Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga title this season.
Maybe the same thing could happen to Erik Ten Hag at Bayer Leverkusen next season although I don't think it will be easy for Erik Ten Hag because the quality of the players at Leverkusen is a little different from the players at Bayern Munich. But anything can happen even though there are so many speculations about Erik Ten Hag for now, but Leverkusen could make a difference when they are coached by Erik Ten Hag next season. Because the Bundesliga is not as complicated as the Premier League so Leverkusen fans should be sure that Erik Ten Hag definitely has the ability to build the team in a better direction.
I will agree that Erik Ten Hag can build the Bayer Leverkusen team to finish in a UEFA Champions League position, but I don't see the same thing that happened to Vincent Kompany at Bayern Munich this season happening to Erik Ten Hag at Bayer Leverkusen because Bayer Leverkusen doesn't have the same quality players that Bayern Munich has, and secondly, Vincent Kompany and his players won't allow Erik Ten Hag to win the Bundesliga title.
That's not that difficult since the Bundesliga isn't the strongest league. I expect Dortmund will play an average season, it won't be brilliant. RB Leipzig wasn't as good recently and then there is Frankfurt, which is not the best of the best either.
Dortmund qualified for the Champions League with 57 points. Leverkusen has the resources and many good players to easily aim for 60 points. The goal should be to lead or stay close to Bayern for as long as possible. The Bundesliga often time becomes too boring far too early.
Ten Hag is not the best coach for this job I think, but ultimately it doesn't matter. The players are mostly responsible. Too much responsibility is taken away from them given how much they are making from their profession.
