Compared to other teams, Arsenal has really been quite inactive. I think they have to make much more sensational transfers. It is very difficult to be successful in the Premier League, the most important condition for the team's performance to increase is for the squad to be better.
While even Manchester United is working on its squad, it is a very wrong strategy for Arsenal to wait
Lol, Arsenal is one team in the league that's supposed to be actively doing something worth it in this transfer window, but it's same old Arsenal where they will scout and follow a player for, even after the team has given them a price tag, they will still wait until another will come from nowhere to steal such a players signature. It has happened over time and I'm not surprised to see how Arsenal is currently doing in this transfer window.
I personally really do not think that Arsenal need a whole lot of signings this season. To be fair, for the past 3 seasons, Arsenal has been at the corridor of the top lather and has been consistent. I think they ended 2nd position consecutively for 3 times. So, Arsenal team is already good. What they desperately need is a striker and just a few additions if necessary.
The only place I think Arsenal is getting it wrong or trying to get it wrong is in their inability to retain Thomas Partey in the midfield. I read that they are planning to sell him because of Salary concerns.
