I don't know why people are doubting Ten Hag and thinking he cannot do much in the club, he is not a bad coach and can definitely manage a team like Leverkusen easily because there is no pressure of any kind in the team like it was was at Manchester United. Manchester United made the job more difficult and complicated for the coaches because they are desperate to become better and didn't want to give coaches enough time to figure things out.
This is a very good opportunity for Ten Hag to redeem himself and I am sure he would also not want to blow it. The German League is not so hard as the premier league and Leverkusen is a well established team already and so they will have access to few good players to make the job easy for him.
If he succeeds then he is definitely not a coach for the big teams.
You see those who distrust Ten Hag, thinking that he cannot handle Leverkusen; it's as if they forget that Ten Hag is a coach who always makes his teams proud of themselves, and since Leverkusen is still in form with a solid performance, I believe the jobs will be easier for him. Because it will not suffer as a result of the team standards.
Manchester United's primary issue was their own. The coach isn't the issue, in my opinion. Because he could have solved the matter for himself if he had assumed that the coach was to blame for the way the supporters were challenged, but since the players also have problems of their own, his attempts to bring them back to normal standards is still unsuccessful.
I agree that there was pressure when he was at Manchester United. The fans and the management wanted success and Ten Hag couldn't deliver. Also, it wasn't just Ten Hag's problem, Manchester United weren't in a good shape as a team. Ten Hag also made mistakes and bad squad choices when he was at Manchester United.
We'll see how things go at Leverkusen and I'm curious to see what Ten Hag will do with a new team in the new season after a series of unsuccessful seasons with a different team.
