I wouldn't blame Ten Hag for all the mess he did, but the management because they saw his laxity that he cannot improve the team, but they went ahead to support him with getting overhyped players expensively just because he won City in the FA Cup finals. They should have known, Ten Hag isn't capable anymore. It was when everything was falling apart in the club that they didn't put any confidence in him. If not, they thought he is going to be the new coach to transform the team.
Transforming the old team into a new team is what every manager that’s been signed into a club will be told and will be their biggest task to achieve. No team can tell how a manager will perform for them overtime, but it is through what they see that they will use to judge the manager to a good one to continue with or change. Seriously, wining the FA Cup against Manchester City who were at their best form really made Ten Hag to become the best of managers to be trusted by Manchester United management. Manchester United have really even become worse that they were before, so they need an overhaul in the team which if they’re serious this is the right time for them to do it. They need to have the best team players to get themselves back to their glory days they’re not anymore and have lost long ago.
