I use easy tips to choose who will win a soccer match, like checking odds, team stats, and who plays at home. I also look at the referee’s history (which is crazy though). I know these tips don’t promise a win, but they let me enjoy my time while playing, and they help me to accept my losses (which is the most important thing for me)
Sometimes, even if I play responsibly, it happens to me to feel regret and anger after losing... it’s when I follow my heart and bet on Real Madrid (It cost me money last season, but I will support them even if they play against aliens, no choice
)
What about you? Do you use data or your heart? I am curious though. How do you manage to check the history of the referees before taking a choice on whether they are biased in favor of a team or not? Because, in my experience it is way easier to check the history of the players than those who are referees.
Actually, someone of the referees I have managed to identify and recognize in football/soccer has been due to their unfamous reputation in some important matches.
Anyhow, when comes to one's "heart" and data, it matters to have data on our hands to have a logical way to bet and wager our money, but since all matches mostly depend on luck our "heart/gut" also can be right by pure chance; and there is nothing wrong about it. It is part of what makes betting on sports so entertaining and important to bettors.
