~snip...with each Trump win ...
"In recent months, 96% of his administration’s federal district court rulings have gone against him."
For sure Trump and his various appointees tend to be vindictive petty and purposefully attempting to undermine a large variety of legal institutions, which surely is irritating for a lot of folks who have built lives around various institutions and even legal principles and precedent. some of the tactics of Trump and his folk are surely sickening, even when they might come up with some various possible arguable legitimate reasons for their various kinds of hate and simultaneous power grabs..and maybe even diversions..
You make an interesting argument, Mr. JJG.
Since you brought up "undermining" and "vindictive", I would like to point out that the 96.3% statistic is only for the month of May 2025 which began coincidentally 6 days after the arrest of Judge Hannah Dugan. Isn't it possible that we are witnessing judicial activism? Maybe some blowback because other judges don't like to see one of their own arrested even when crimes have been alleged to have been committed (as established by a federal grand jury)? Are you not sickened by the deceptive tactics and actions of a judge in aiding and abetting an undocumented Mexican national, who is in the US illegally, while he also faces three counts of battery with domestic abuse modifiers and infliction of physical harm in her courtroom, to evade federal law enforcement officers after they had agreed to wait until his pre-trial hearing was complete to arrest him for being in the US illegally (he was issued a deportation order in 2013 and was sent back to Mexico). If one judge can act (criminally) against the best interests of all American citizens, then surely you must think all of her cohorts would do the same. After all, you did this with "Trump and his various appointees" while conveniently forgetting that most of these appointees are not actually appointees at all but nominees who must receive the approval of the Senate in order to assume their official roles.
