We all hope Ten Hag does well. The fact that United have struggled with several coaches who have been brought in other than Ten Hag proves that the problem is not only in the ability of the coach. But Ten Hag's challenge will actually start for the new season. If he does well, then the trust in him will increase and once again prove that he does have good ability. he may have to get full support from the existing team.
Manchester United’s fate with Erik Ten Hag might not be the same at Bayer Leverkusen, it might be a glory moment for Erik Ten hag ar Leverkusen or a replica of United’s fate who knows. I just hope he has learnt from his mistakes at United and takes a different approach with Leverkusen to avoid also failing at Leverkusen.
I believe that Leverkusen's management should not have pressured Erik Ten Hag to win the title, they know very well that it would be a difficult task because even with Xabi they were unable to win the title last season, so in my opinion Erik Ten Hag's task is much simpler: finish in second or third place and manage to get as far as they can in the European Champions League and try to win some German Cup.
Erik Ten Hag's task at Leverkusen is much easier compared to when he was at Manchester United, we will see if he works the same magic as when he was Ajax coach, but I root for Bayern to win the title again next season.
