As somebody that only gambles $10 per week, winning $50 is already a big thing for me, but to a point where I'm incredibly happy because at the back of my head, I will still think of the losses that I had in the past and will say "This isn't enough to cover all of my losses." It will be a different reaction if it's a million dollars though. At the end of the day, it will depend on your lifestyle, and maybe the country where you're living. For us, $50 can buy many things already, but in other countries $50 isn't enough for a family to cover a single breakfast, dinner or lunch.
If you win, you will feel the adrenaline rushing on your body hence, you will find more profits which will lead to losses in the end. I know this isn't happening to all gamblers, but it's happening.
