Yea that blame should be apportioned to Ten Hag, he treated Ronaldo as if the guy was a threat to his career and I think that the reason must Manchester United former wouldn't want to come back then, Ten Hag messed up in the club because he never listened to advise, he do things he likes and I believe that's what contributed to him not being able to give the club what they wanted, as for Ronaldo, Ronaldo remains what he is any, any time, Ronaldo is a definition of Raw talent so such Raw talent like him are unquenchable fire so no matter what anyone does to them, they will keep winning, when I look at Ronaldos age and his continued performance, what coyme to my mind is natural talent that's beyond human imagination, that's what he represents.
In the case of Ronaldo everything might not be so straightforward. On the one hand he did not want to play in such a weak Manchester United but on the other hand it was Ten Hag's actions that became decisive in Ronaldo being suspended from the team and training. Most likely Ronaldo understood that he had no prospects there and he wanted more and he should not be blamed for that while Ten Hag just wanted to preserve his authority in the team so everything is clear here.
I love Ronaldo and I never wanted him to go back to Manchester United because I saw it clear that there was no future for him there, however he was convinced by his former coach Sir Alex Ferguson to come back to Manchester United where his greatness started showings and again Ronaldo really wanted to go back to Manchester United and he even wanted to retire there but things became very bad when he started having issues with the then coach ten hag, well I will not put all the blame in ten hag or Ronaldo there two just didn't work out well, it was very clear that Ronaldo can't work with ten hag, Ronaldo was not happy with the kind of decisions ten hag was making in the team and because of that he was angry at ten hag and ten hag was angry at Ronaldo because he felt Ronaldo was disrespecting him.
Ronaldo leaving Manchester United was the best decision however when he came back he really helped the club, he scored some goals that helped them win matches.
