When the price of an asset suddenly drops, you
DIP it. It is better to invest in this confidence that it will increase again in the future.
Some dips happens for a short term, but others happens because the project itself has issues. Issues like maybe poor management, total abandonment etc. That is why every dip isn't a buying opportunity. Buying blindly into every dip without getting to know what caused that dip is simply unwise.  Based on what you said on confidence, I would say this The Crypto market is highly volatile and as such Confidence without Research is Null Before one invest into any dip, this are the questions you are meant to ask yourself:
1) Is the project a solid one?
2) Is there any tangible reason that this project will bounce back or recover? If your answers to this is uncertain, it is better to wait it out
Are you talking about bitcoin or some kind of infrastructural project? Because am a bit confused from you first statement while if you don't know this is bitcoin we are talking about here.

Bitcoin will always go up if it drop that is the nature of bitcoin, when the price of bitcoin drop it also becomes an opportunity for investors to accumulate more Bitcoin those who has reserve fund can aswell buy aggressively without over doing it, if you can't accumulate Bitcoin when the price is low how did you intend to do it when it increases? I will advise you accumulate bitcoin at anytime if you have your discretionary to do so using the DCA strategy.
