Not all can maintain the stability of performance in every match, especially in a tight match schedule so I do not overreact to what happened to Liverpool last season and what must be realized is that in the knockout competition everything is possible to happen and also what must be remembered is that the competition in the Champion League is very fierce with quite high tension so that we often see surprises that occur in the Champion League competition, even that happens almost every season.
It is very difficult to maintain stable performance in the midst of a busy schedule, players will become exhausted if forced to continue playing and the risk of injury is also very high. Liverpool will appear in several different competitions next season, the new UCL format also adds to the playing schedule, the tight schedule requires the coach to be able to manage the team to always perform optimally. Last season's failure should be used as motivation to play more carefully and close any gaps that could benefit the opponent, they also have to let go of the lower level trophy so they can focus more on the UCL.
