The fact that the Premier League is the most competitive is, to put it mildly, a controversial statement. Last season Liverpool won without having any competitors, and the previous 4 seasons in a row City won with competitors only in 2 seasons. The EPL is now more like the Bundesliga, where in order for a new champion to emerge, the old champion must go into crisis. La Liga and Serie A look much more interesting than the EPL. Oh, and look at that laughing stock of Championship clubs. They are simply not up to the level of the EPL.

Last season, Serie A was the most competitive. Until the last match of the season, we were not sure which team would win. If Napoli lost in the last match, they would not be champions. Napoli were only 1 point ahead of Inter Milan. In addition, Atalanta, who was in third place, was also performing very well.

La Liga is competitive. However, only Madrid and Barcelona are fighting for the title here. However, the fight between these two teams becomes very exciting. If teams like Atletico Madrid, Athletic Club and Villarreal could do well, the fight for the La Liga title would be even more intense.

The Premier League is considered the most competitive because it has a lot of rich clubs. But even then, we can guess which team is going to win the championship long before. Champions Liverpool were 10 points ahead of Arsenal, who were in second place in the table.

Yes, the Premier League is just a gathering of rich clubs that no longer justify their status. What's the point of watching games if the champion is already known? Competitive seasons are very rare and even if they are, there are at most two clubs in the race and this race is more virtual than real - in the form of reasoning "if the leader loses points and the one chasing does not, then we will see intrigue". It's a pitiful spectacle, in fact it's much more entertaining to watch the adventures of United or Tottenham  Grin
