Time wasted is money they said so having wasted or invested so much to gamble and then you end up exhausting the time for nothing is more frustrating than loosing money to gambling. Cause each time should be utilize very well to suit your demands of either your gambling for fun or for having a source of income. So yeah it's better if you spend ones time on something useful other than wasting it for something not positive.
In general, you can talk a lot philosophically about wasting time, for example, if we do something that is not useful, then you can immediately say that we are wasting time, but life is about this, that sometimes we can allow ourselves to lose or relax, for example, by playing several poker tournaments and I will never say that we wasted time. We relaxed, enjoyed a 3bet from a professional or an interesting hand with an average player, etc. Therefore, I do not feel sorry for my time on gambling and will continue to do so.
