People always talk about how not going to the university does not necessarily mean that things are over. But going to school or university still has some benefits. But what college programs end up becoming most profitable these days? Some may say medicine. I do not think so. It is expensive to become a doctor and you might just end up paying your debts a few years after you graduated.

I say information technology or Computer Science. Very in demand and if we look at the world now, we are in the digital era and they are the ones needed the most. Engineering as well is profitable and always in demand wherever you are. Obviously you should pick a program where you excel at and you will be happy at but a factor of choosing a degree to study is how rich it can make you. I guess I am talking about the degrees with biggest ROIs these days.

What else are profitable programs?
To be honest, it is not the end of life when one does not attend university, but when the person opts to attend one, then a consideration on a payoff seems reasonable. Of course, at the moment, such tech-related studies as Computer Science, AI, Cybersecurity, and Data Science are certainly on the high end. Not only do they pay well, it will also provide you with flexibility and opportunities in the world. Even engineering just like you mentioned, particularly software, electrical as well as mechanical, these are still of great value. Cleverly, there are always some degree in business such as finance, accounting or even supply chain that you could earn money out of assuming you know how to deploy this knowledge and let us not discount the trades and expert work such as plumbing, welding, electric work, something that may not be a college course of study but can pay out more than many office and desk jobs with fewer student loans at the end of it.
