AFAIK Stake recently have an overwhelming number of VIP while the VIP host number is small which is the reason for not having a fast response.
Some user here experienced the same problem on VIP host so you’re not alone. Stake is trying to improve everything due to their increasing number of customers globally.

There are more users below plat 4 and users without VIP host than the so-called VIPs, but the regular support is still faster and more efficient than the VIP host. So I don't think it has to do with the number
The response of increased in number of VIP is correct, I have seen similar complaint in other platforms including X and I think they are aware and already doing something about it. If the VIP support is not working efficiently for you, you can combine that with the regular support and you will surely get a response. I know the challenge is the slow response not that the VIP support does not work.
