I miss the days before these cunt institutions got into this scene.

Sure, you can complain about the matter, yet to me there seems to be quite a bit of futility to be fighting the matter of who is coming to bitcoin and how much they may or may not end up pumping our bags..

@CryptoJelleNL
Bitcoin looks very ready for a new leg higher!
Compressing in a bullish pennant right below all-time highs, after taking out the downside liquidity.

$150,000 in sight.
Send it. 🚀

Hook this right into my veins.

*Dreaming of $150,000 per coin*

$150k comes off as barely enough to cause vapourminer to dust off the griddle in order to throw an extra egg and jumbo shrimp into his ramen.

is XPHorizon and his grandma going to upgrade to full milk to go with his cookies based on that?  Oh I forgot.  That dweeb forgot to buy any cornz.  That's gotta suck, even with ONLY around a 40% price appreciation between here and $150k.. .. and another thing. .less than a doubling seems almost insignificant.

If we merely consider our bottom of $15,479 from 2022, we have come nearly 7x.. so what is another 40%.

Even if we start from a more modest $27k jumping off point from October 2023, we are still around 4x.. so what is another 40% added onto that?. $150k.. but still... is it really very much diferent from the $107k-ish where we are already at.

I am not even saynging that we are not going higher, since $150k seems a kind of given, and sure I suppose I will get excited just like all price discovery has a bit of excitement in it.. just like coming from $74k-ish in early November and rising up to $109.3k-ish in January and then up to $112k from right around 5 weeks ago.. nothing wrong with those ground breaking moments of plowing into new price territories.

@merlijntrader
Bitcoin is in the final wave of an Ending Diagonal.
This is where parabolic ends…
And pain begins.

Target? $155K+
But what comes after… will wreck the unprepared.

Wreck the unprepared you say?

The Wall Observer Gang were born prepared.

Accordingly, we get to $155k and then we get some major correction.

You gotta be selling in increments for this kind of nonsense.

Who do I know who is selling in increments rather than waiting to blow the wadd at some aspirational price point?

Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the incrementalist.. blah blah blah... of all... ?

I like to see the price of BTC rising steadily, $110k is the first expected target, the best thing is that corporations are buying and buying BTC, if these whales are buying then we should buy too, it's logical.

Metaplanet surpasses Tesla in Bitcoin holdings with $132.7M BTC purchase
Quote
27-6-2025 – Tokyo-based investment firm Metaplanet has significantly bolstered its Bitcoin portfolio with the acquisition of 1,234 BTC, valued at a staggering $132.7 million. This strategic move elevates the firm’s total Bitcoin holdings to an impressive 12,345 BTC, propelling it past electric vehicle giant Tesla, which holds 11,509 BTC, in the global rankings of corporate cryptocurrency ownership, as verified by data from bitcointreasuries.net.

For me this is a very good sign that we should buy.
Metaplanet is an amazing story...almost like a Baron Munchausen, pulling themselves up in the air by pulling on their own "hair".
They started at market cap of $10 mil.
I remember reading about it when they made their first buy and thinking about the fact that they are too small to amount to anything (did not buy, sadly).
Now, they are up 800X or something similar.
I am not sure how this ends...well, perhaps the premium would collapse at some point, but still...

They would still end up with a shitton of bitcoin, and surely a decent number of those coins are debt free (and would be debt free).  Of course, I do not know all of the details..... the price of their stocks would then just end up having parity rather than a premium, right?

......So far, there were no major deviations as far as the cycle end is concerned-more or less always in Nov-Dec of the year following the halving.
Until this breaks, it pays to assume that the cycles continue, until they don't.
yes ending time has yet to alter but
2012 1/2 ing - 2013 ATH
2016 1/2 ing - 2017 ATH
2020 1/2 ing - 2021 ATH

2024  ATH    -    2024 1/2 ing               this is a variation for the start and if we drop in nov 2025 - jan 2026 the end time after the
1/2 ing may be the same.

It would not alter the first ath ever to hit before the 1/2ing so I would argue we would both be half right if the drop is Nov to Jan
and I would be full correct if the drop begins feb 2026 or later.

Personally, I would not consider a blow off top or a hight that is 1st or 2nd quarter of 2026  rather than 3rd or 4th quarter of 2025 to be a material enough break to call it "the end of the cycle" or a "supercycle"

but yeah guys will do all kinds of dances to claim insight to some kind of a supposed novel insight...

And, sure, bitcoin has run a fairly tight ship, historically, yet that the same time, there has always been some level of variation that can be pointed to in terms of describing various peaks and corrections within the cycle.

Of course, on a personal level, the way that we are holding our BTC should have enough flexibility that it is sufficiently prepared for a variety of scenarios.. whether we perceive that the cycle ends up ending early or dragging out for a quarter or two longer than we had been expecting.

Yeah, but this time's different
I agree it is a bit different as we did hit 70k before the ½ ing of 2024

so maybe we go way deep and past nov - dec 2025 to some time later say oct 2026

I will grant you that if this particular cycle were to not finish its lil selfie until 3rd or even 4th quarter 2026 (meaning no major correction or drug out correction) that would be an interesting variation of the pattern that might challenge some of us (including yours truly) into considering that something might be wrong with our friendly "bitcoin's cycle theory."

I don't know if it was the green swimsuit but this reminded me of the corn over the last few weeks.

Wow!!!!!

Even fat chubby chicas can fly.

I miss the days before these cunt institutions got into this scene.
What if we all dumped on them and act like nobody cares about Bitcoin anymore, and when they finally panic and try to sell all their coins for peanuts we buy them back...

I am not sure if that is going to work... but it may well end up removing a lot of us from our coins...

part of the reason that I don't tend to get very excited about any theories that involve practices of selling coin.

Actually I was being facetious  Tongue
oh so was I.
As i think we see a lack of cycling from now on.

That is the version of "we" that you wished were going to exist..

Yet, I doubt that your ongoing proclamation that the 4-ish year cycle is gone, or disappearing, is going to contribute to the cycle actually disappearing - as an actual thing.. .. even if you really, really, really, really want it to disappear.
