There are growing concerns in the crypto community about the credibility of BestChange, one of the most popular exchanger aggregators in the Russian-speaking crypto market.

:warning: Users are reporting that BestChange is turning a blind eye to fraudulent exchange services listed on its platform. Numerous cases suggest that negative reviews about certain exchangers are being deleted, and BestChange support often sides with the exchangers during disputes — even when clients present clear evidence of wrongdoing.

One of the most alarming incidents involves the exchanger CoinCraddle, which was listed on BestChange with an impeccable reputation — hundreds of positive reviews and zero negatives.

A user reported losing over $130,000 after using CoinCraddle to convert USD to Monero (XMR). After receiving the funds, CoinCraddle froze the transaction citing an AML check and has not returned the funds even after more than a month. Attempts to resolve the situation through BestChange were unsuccessful.

This case prompted further investigation from both journalists and community members, raising critical questions:

  • How are such exchangers able to maintain perfect ratings on BestChange?
  • Why are complaints and warnings from users being ignored or removed?
  • Could BestChange have a financial or structural interest in some of the listed exchangers?

Several other exchangers — including Prostovcash, GetBit, and Coinumm — are also being scrutinized, with users alleging similar patterns: attractive rates, sudden freezes or non-delivery of funds, and no meaningful response from BestChange.

If these allegations are substantiated, this could indicate a systemic issue, where BestChange is not just a passive directory but potentially complicit in enabling fraudulent activity.
