I think the majority are more into the DCA than lump-sum. Anyways some folks got the wrong impression of buying the dip, they feel that buying the dip means they should only wait for when the market falls before they seize the opportunity, that's a very wrong impression cause such folks would miss out on many opportunities in the process of waiting, what they don't understand is that the DCA can still be implemented and investor would still get a chance to buy dip on different occasions according to their plan, bitcoin market is so volatile so while implementing the DCA you must definitely come across lots of dips and seize the opportunity, that's far more better than waiting then miss many buying opportunity in the process. Anyways I believe that's why the majority uses the DCA more often than the lump-sum.
The reason why more people (investors) make DCA as an option is that we realize that in the end we cannot afford to wait a little longer because it could be that when we wait, the hope of getting the bottom price becomes reversed and we are left behind from the investment made. In addition, I think for me personally I am not that patient to wait too long according to the desired price so that instead of waiting and making as if the theory is more important, it would be better to immediately carry out the investment by buying DCA.
On the other hand, not a few who are in bitcoin are doing with small-scale investments (because they are in the middle economy) so that to force to invest massively at one time is difficult so choosing with DCA because with this we can have bitcoin even in small amounts but the longer it is done, of course, the more assets we have because after all DCA can be a reason for habituation in the investments we make.
Not that we can't do other methods but when there are things that are less burdensome then in the end that is what is chosen so that I personally say that DCA is quite worth it for me to do because I realize the economic strength that I currently have.
