Since the only way to win in sports betting, according to those who claim to be successful is to treat it like investing, I think that idea actually makes sense.
Doesn't make sense to me. I have other things like career upgrade, Bitcoin and family time to treat as investment. Gambling is a fun activity to me, I don't care about profitability in gambling, I believe a big win comes by luck and not as an ROI from your investing into gambling.
So for our fellow sports bettors here, I’d like to throw this question based on your personal understanding:
How do you turn sports betting into something like investing?
Straight reply, I neither treat nor turn sports betting into any form of investment. It's a wrong approach to gambling IMO.
What mindset or approach do you use to treat it seriously, like you're managing a portfolio?
I only get a budget to prevent myself from gambling irresponsibly and make sure I only deposit once into the casino for every session.
