~ I could very well be missing something, or just stupid, but i noticed their live baccarat games are advertised as 99.5%, which i found odd because such tables from pragmatic and evolution don't exist - simply a fact.
I think it is a mistake from their side. Otherwise, they have mentioned 99.5% RTP for a different reason. I don't know why. The actual RTP of those Baccarat games are 1.06%.
The actual RTP of those Baccarat games aren't 1.06%, that's the house edge. If the RTP of those games was 1%, that means that the casino returns 1% of the money to the player and takes 99% itself, which is hugely unattractive. 1.06% is the house edge, which, converted to RTP, is 98.94%.
Btw as far as I know, Pragmatic Play uses Punto Banco rules on Live Baccarat tables, which means that Banker's RTP is 98.94%, Player's RTP is 98.75% and Tie's RTP is 85.64%. I think this is a technical mistake from Metawin on Live Baccarat tables and they have to fix it.
