I don’t see any good reason why Christiano Ronaldo should return to Europe. Ronaldo has nothing more to prove playing in Europe besides he is doing so well now at Al Nassr for his age and he is gaining so much more at age 40 so I think he made the right decision to continue in the Saudi Pro League.Really sad news for me and for the lovers of footballs,anyone who agree with his decission of stay is against football.
His contract was to expire in June 2025 and now it has been renewed for next two years. Christiano Ronaldo performance hasn't been extraordinary for this season and Al Nassr also failed to qualify for the AFC Champions League and at the same time Ronaldo could help his club Al Nassr to win the title for Saudi Professional League. However he is again able to get one of the most expensive deal and contract only because everyone knows he is a star and his recent performance is overlooked. Good for him to get to play for another two years for this league.
