Football is a business and in business you look for better pay from your employer that you're performing for. Ronaldo had done his job perfectly at Al Nassr, he was brought to bring exposure to the club and he has done just that. He has also scored many goals for Al Nassr and also won one trophy for them. He's performing well therefore the new contract is earned. When good things is happening to you, only your haters will want you to not accept it and that's what people were telling Ronaldo but he didn't listen and now he can earn so much that he can retire as a billionaire without worrying about working again when he's done with his career. He's getting more money now than when he was still in this prime.
I think considering football as a business has both time a yes and a no. Because in business one thing is defined that we only consider the thing which favours us in fact they got our first and top priority. But i think in football this is wrong because the player can't get success if he prioritises his personal interests. The success will be ashamed only in one condition when all the players play as a team not like individuals. But Cristiano Ronaldo has a specific case he can afford on the basis of his amazing record of what he wants the salary and other incentives. Because only his name is more than enough to strengthen any club.
